The RE learning experiences are deep and rich and valued by everyone.
Pupils from a variety of faith backgrounds confidently talk about their
beliefs. Attainment is very high and teachers provide excellent quality
opportunities focussed on the individual learning needs of the whole child.
These include RE experience days and godly play reflection sessions
shared with the wider community, for example ordinands’ training at
Mirfield. Some quality RE activities take place jointly with a church school
partnership group and pupils disseminate their learning to others. Two
very skilled subject leaders have collaborated to achieve these successes.
One is continuing the subject leader role additionally contributing her
professional experience from Lindley to the National Association of
teachers of RE (NATRE) expert advisory group.
