Parent's Forum

We hold our Parents' Forums every half term to give parents the opportunity to discuss school-related issues. Regular, open communication and consultation with parents is really important to our school. The Parents' Forum provides a valuable way to listen to your ideas and concerns and seek your views, helping to make sure the needs of all the children and their families are met.

Meetings are informal and usually led by Mrs Beaumont or Mrs Firth and they are a genuine opportunity for open discussion.  Agenda items are very open and can be suggested by the parents and by the school.  Although it is not designed to be a decision making body, the forum has the opportunity to influence decisions through an open dialogue with the Headteacher.

These meetings have been a huge success in the past and these are just a few examples of the issues that have been discussed:

Water bottles

Maths homework

Academy status

Free school meals for all children

Parent Pay

Our Parents' forums will continue this year with one meeting per half term. Everyone is welcome to join us if you have any issues to discuss or simply join us to listen.
